Lucky Luke Overview
Lucky Luke is a Game Boy title where players control the titular cowboy on a mission to recapture escaped outlaws. The adventure spans twelve stages, moving through varied environments like towns, prairies, and an Indian village.
Gameplay involves navigating levels by walking, jumping, and climbing while collecting items. Some objects, like dynamite, reveal hidden areas, while others such as a red cloth or a bone are used to bypass specific obstacles like bulls or dogs. Luke's primary means of defense is his six shooter, which fires in straight or diagonal lines and must be reloaded after six shots. Enemies, including bandits and prisoners, each require a set number of hits to defeat.
The structure mixes standard platforming with scrolling-style sequences, such as chasing a train or rowing through rapids. Most stages conclude with a boss encounter, culminating in a final battle against the Dalton Brothers. A bonus stage offers an extra life for shooting all bottles.
