Missile Command Overview
Missile Command for the Game Boy Color is a handheld adaptation of the arcade title where Earth faces an alien assault. The player operates two separate anti-missile silos to protect a series of major cities from destruction.
Each city contains six buildings that must be defended; the loss of all structures in a city ends the game. The silos are independently controlled, each with a limited supply of fifteen missiles. Targeting is performed by positioning a cursor on screen to intercept incoming projectiles.
This release enhanced the original Game Boy version with color graphics and incorporated a rumble feature. The primary objective remains the interception of enemy firepower to prevent urban devastation.
