Rampage : Puzzle Attack Overview
Rampage: Puzzle Attack is a Game Boy Advance title that adapts the property into a color-matching puzzle format. The core task involves removing red, blue, green, and yellow blocks from a playfield. Players manipulate a queue of blocks before dropping them in pairs, with a special Detoblock used to eliminate all blocks of its matching color.
Several distinct single-player modes are offered. These range from clearing the entire board to achieving the goal within a limited number of moves, alongside an endless Marathon variant. A specific Rescue Mode ties into the Rampage license, tasking the player with freeing monsters from the arcade game by clearing blocks from atop their cages.
Multiplayer competition provides direct interaction. In one mode, cleared blocks from a player's screen are transferred to the opponent's field. Other contests involve racing to free a captive monster first or competing for the highest score within a one-minute timeframe.
