Ochainu Kururin Overview
Ochainu Kururin is a falling block puzzle title for the Game Boy Advance. Its visual theme is derived from the Sega Toys property Ochainu, which presents characters with tea leaf ears.
The core interaction involves controlling pairs of blocks that can be rotated freely before placement. These blocks depict either a tea animal character or a teacup. A key mechanic triggers when a cup is placed adjacent to a matching animal; this causes all connected animals of that color to vanish into the cup, clearing them from the playfield and awarding points.
This release is a redesign of an earlier puzzle game called Wanko de Kururin! Wankuru, maintaining its fundamental rules while applying a new aesthetic. Multiplayer is supported through a link cable for versus matches, and a CPU opponent is also available.
