3 Choume no Tama is a Game Boy conversion of a title originally released for PlayStation 2. The narrative centers on Torneko, who, after achieving success, seeks new adventures by sailing to unknown lands. A disaster on his birthday, involving a tidal wave that destroys his ship, strands him and his family on a small island.
In return for the villagers' aid, he agrees to address a monster problem originating from a nearby cave known as a Mysterious Dungeon.
