Final Fantasy V Advance is a Game Boy Advance release that presents an updated version of the original title. This portable iteration shares its enhanced features with iOS ports and other early series remakes, including improved visual presentation.
The gameplay expansion introduces several new elements. A major addition is a multi-level dungeon known as the Sealed Temple, which contains thirty floors to explore. Players can also encounter an extra boss enemy, Enuo, which was created by designer Tetsuya Nomura. The job system is expanded with four new roles: Gladiator, Cannoneer, Necromancer, and Oracle.
Further enhancements include new equipment to acquire and a quick-save function for convenience. The release also contains supplementary features like a catalog of enemy information and a mode for listening to the game's soundtrack.
