Open Season Overview
Open Season for the Game Boy Advance adapts the film's narrative, focusing on the grizzly bear Boog. After being relocated to the wilderness with a mule deer named Elliot, Boog must learn to survive outside his domesticated life with park ranger Beth.
The core objective involves protecting the forest's inhabitants from hunters employed by the fanatic Shaw. As Boog, the player utilizes abilities such as jumping, rolling, grabbing, and roaring to scare off these threats. The forest is organized into territories, each containing standard hunters and more formidable boss hunters that must be cleared.
This portable version presents a distinct experience from its console counterpart. Gameplay revolves around systematically confronting hunters across different areas to secure the environment for the animals.
