Dr. Sudoku brings the popular logic puzzle to the Game Boy Advance. The core challenge involves completing a grid so that each row, column, and designated 3x3 block contains the digits 1 through 9 without repetition.
For newcomers, the game includes a tutorial and a hint system, making the initial experience fair. A library of one thousand puzzles is provided, developed by the Skynet Corporation. Players also have the option to request verification that a given puzzle has a solution.
Beyond solving pre-made puzzles, an Original Mode allows users to design their own grids. This feature enables the transfer of puzzles from print sources, like newspapers, onto the handheld system.
