Hebereke's Popoitto is a puzzle game derived from the Tetris concept. The player controls the penguin Hebereke, who is competing in a tournament against his friends.
Gameplay involves clearing a playfield that is pre-filled with blocks depicting characters from the series. These existing blocks are not static but move around the screen. The player guides new blocks as they descend, positioning them before they land. When four or more identical blocks connect, they are eliminated from the playfield.
