Skull & Crossbones Overview
Skull & Crossbones is a side scrolling action game where players assume the role of a pirate, either Red Beard or One Eye. The primary objective is a quest to reclaim stolen treasure from a wizard, which involves battling through a series of themed levels.
Combat is structured around a fencing system, incorporating moves such as parrying. Enemies encountered include ninjas and skeletons across various locations, from pirate ships and forts to other settings. Defeating these foes and digging for treasure at marked spots are the methods for accumulating wealth.
Each level concludes with a boss encounter, providing a structured progression. The game also supports cooperative play, allowing a second player to control the other pirate character for simultaneous action.
