Magic Pockets Overview
Magic Pockets is a side scrolling shooter where the protagonist, known as the Bitmap Kid, seeks to recover his stolen toys. His journey takes him through four distinct worlds, each populated by various hostile creatures.
The character possesses a versatile arsenal; his weapon can be charged for greater effect and its form adapts to the needs of different environments. Beyond combat, the Bitmap Kid demonstrates significant agility, utilizing whirlwinds for enhanced jumps and employing a damaging ground pound from great heights. He also gains access to temporary abilities like riding a bike, diving, and flight through special items found during play.
A defining trait is the character's seemingly limitless storage capacity, as his deep pockets can hold virtually anything encountered. The gameplay involves navigating these worlds, using a combination of tailored weaponry and athletic maneuvers to overcome enemies.
