After being left alone and broke in Los Angeles, Larry inadvertently attracts the attention of pursuing KGB agents and becomes entangled with a villainous doctor on a tropical island.
This sequel features a more linear structure than its predecessor, moving the player through a series of new locations as the story unfolds. The gameplay is built on an improved engine that supports full-screen graphics and mouse-controlled movement.
While the number of puzzles is reduced compared to the first game, the experience is considered challenging due to a greater variety of fatal hazards encountered in most areas.
