Discworld is a point and click adventure set in a humorous fantasy universe. This world takes the form of a flat disc borne by four elephants standing on a giant turtle.
The player controls Rincewind, a wizard primarily concerned with his own survival. His task is to stop a dragon terrorizing the city of Ankh Morpork, a plot adapted from the novel Guards! Guards! Unlike the book, this duty falls to Rincewind because he is considered the most expendable wizard at Unseen University.
Gameplay involves solving puzzles, some of which require the use of a time travel device. A distinctive feature is the Luggage, a sentient chest that carries most of Rincewind's items, while he himself can only hold two objects at a time.
