Touché: The Adventures of the Fifth Musketeer Overview
Touché: The Adventures of the Fifth Musketeer is a point and click adventure that uses inventory puzzles and a context sensitive interface. Interaction is managed through a pop up menu of relevant actions, which appears when a player right clicks on a screen hotspot.
The setting is 16th century France, where the musketeer Geoffroi Le Brun begins his service. His first duty involves a promise to a dying man, the Comte d'Itee, to recover a stolen will. This objective requires travel between several French cities, including Amiens, Paris, and Le Havre.
Geoffroi is accompanied by his servant Henri, who provides assistance during the investigation. The journey's progression is managed through a map that unlocks new locations as puzzles are solved. The game includes full voice acting, music, and sound effects, alongside on screen captions.
