Guilty Overview
Guilty is a graphic adventure sequel where players control either a thief or a police officer. The narrative begins with the thief, Jack T. Ladd, imprisoned on the officer Ysanne Andropath's spaceship, a situation complicated when a shared crisis forces them into an uneasy partnership.
Gameplay involves an icon-based point-and-click interface, which is a refined version of the system from the previous game, Innocent Until Caught. A key feature is the dual protagonist system; while both characters explore many of the same locations, their objectives and puzzles are completely distinct. One may be attempting a theft while the other works to prevent a military advance, with occasional puzzles requiring cooperation.
The setting involves interstellar travel, depicted with rendered scenes for spacecraft maneuvers. The CD release includes full voice acting for the two main characters and animated sequences not present in other versions.
