Bargon Attack Overview
Bargon Attack is a science fiction adventure with cyberpunk and comedic elements, set in a near future where Earth has been subjugated by an alien race called the Bargon. The player assumes the role of a programmer who aims to overthrow these invaders.
The game is structured around approximately twenty locations, each typically comprising one to three screens. This design is consistent with other titles from developer Coktel Vision, which also employed the distinctive interface first seen here. The experience incorporates full-motion video sequences, a technological feature the studio adopted early.
Gameplay involves navigating these environments, confronting hostile creatures, and interacting with alien technology. The challenge level is fair, as player death is possible but is followed by the option to restart the affected segment. This is complemented by several action-oriented arcade sequences interspersed throughout the adventure.
