Bad Blood Overview
Bad Blood is set in a post-nuclear wasteland where a conflict is brewing between the pure-blooded humans in large cities and the mutant populations living in smaller villages. The player's objective is to prevent a war initiated by a human leader named Lord Dominix, who seeks to eradicate the mutants.
Players select from three predefined characters: Varrigg, a strong mutant who fights unarmed; Dekker, a human equipped with a knife; or Jakka, who can project laser beams from her eyes. This choice has a limited effect on the overall experience. The gameplay involves navigating a world map, engaging in real-time combat against various monsters, and visiting settlements to interact with non-player characters and gather items, including weapons like shotguns and Uzis.
The game operates from a top-down perspective and incorporates light role-playing elements, though it does not feature character statistics or development systems. A day-night cycle alters the environment, affecting monster numbers on the plains and the availability of certain NPCs for dialogue.
