Taekwon-Do Overview
Taekwon-Do is a fighting game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System that simulates the real-world martial art of taekwondo. Its mechanics and rules are derived from actual tournament taekwondo.
Players engage with the game through several modes, including a standard tournament, versus matches, a turn-based tag battle format, and a practice option. The interface supports both Japanese and Korean language selections.
Control is centered on directional inputs combined with button presses to execute various attacks, such as pressing forward and B simultaneously. A roster of nineteen fighters is available, each possessing distinct specialties. Additionally, the game features a system for constructing a custom fighter by selecting specific abilities, appearance, and other attributes.
