Venus Senki Overview
Venus Wars is set in 2089 AD, a time when two factions, Ishtar and Aphrodia, are in conflict over the now-inhabitable planet Venus. The player controls a rebel biker group called Hound, which aims to liberate the city of Io from Ishtar's control.
Its gameplay blends two distinct modes. On a strategic level, units are moved in a turn-based manner across a map. This transitions to an action sequence when a unit engages an enemy at close range, where the perspective shifts to direct control of a bike. In these real-time segments, the objective is to shoot a required number of opponents within a one-minute limit while avoiding return fire. Successfully hitting enemies and surviving these encounters grants experience, leading to character progression through level increases.
