Super Bomberman: Panic Bomber W Overview
Super Bomberman: Panic Bomber W is a puzzle game from the Bomberman franchise. Its core mechanics involve matching groups of falling blocks, which triggers bombs to descend. The gameplay can become challenging when a lit bomb explodes, potentially creating destructive chain reactions with other bombs. The playfield is cleared or filled based on these actions, and the session ends if blocks stack to the top of the screen.
This Super Nintendo title expands upon an earlier console release of Bomberman: Panic Bomber. It introduces a story mode for one player, complete with location names and character dialogue not present in the original. For multiplayer, a battle mode supports up to four participants. Some features from the prior version, however, such as a dedicated time challenge mode, were not carried over.
