Princess Minerva Overview
Princess Minerva is a turn based role playing game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, adapted from an anime. The setting is the kingdom of Whistler, where the most skilled warriors are young women trained in diverse combat styles.
The narrative premise involves the titular princess and her allies, a party of nine distinct female characters with individual stats and magical abilities, uniting against a common foe. Their quest is to confront the sorceress Dynastar, the primary antagonist of the Whistler Queen.
Gameplay involves managing the large party by dividing it into three separate groups. The player switches control between these groups while exploring an overworld map, towns, and dungeons from a top down perspective. Combat, also viewed from above, features random encounters and boss battles where the three active characters in a group can combine their abilities for special combo attacks.
