Faceball 2000 Overview
Faceball 2000 is a first-person shooter where players navigate a series of mazes. The visual presentation uses flat shaded corridors and enemies depicted as basic geometric shapes adorned with smiley faces.
Players control a unit designated as a H.A.P.P.Y.F.A.C.E., an acronym for Holographically Assisted Physical Pattern Yielded For Active Computerized Embarkation. The game offers two distinct modes. One involves a single-player experience with the objective of locating an exit within each of its 70 levels. The other is a multiplayer arena, which on the Game Boy version supports connections for up to four linked systems.
Despite the simplicity of its graphical elements, the game provides a full range of movement through its environments.
