Claymates Overview
"Claymates" is a side-scrolling platformer where the player controls a character who can change forms. The protagonist, Clayton, must rescue his father after both are affected by a transformative serum.
An antagonist seeks this serum, leading to Clayton being turned into a ball of clay and his father's capture. Progress involves navigating levels where different transformations act as power-ups to overcome obstacles.
Between platforming stages, a world map presents a secondary puzzle. The player must guide several robots, which move in straight lines until turning at obstacles, to clear a path to the next level. This creates a challenging layer of strategy interspersed with the main action.
