Chuck Rock is a side scrolling platformer where the player controls a caveman. His wife Ophelia Rock has been taken by Gary Gritter, prompting a rescue mission.
Gameplay involves navigating environments and confronting dinosaurs. Chuck employs a belly buster attack and a jump kick in combat. He can also pick up and throw rocks, which serves both to defeat enemies and to reach higher platforms.
