Pro Quarterback Overview
Pro Quarterback is a football simulation for the Sega Genesis that operates without an official NFL license. Its twenty seven teams correspond to real world cities and use similar uniform colors, but do not feature actual league or player names.
Players control both offensive and defensive sides during a match. The offensive perspective uses a down the field camera view, which does not display receivers in separate windows. A selection of twenty six offensive and eighteen defensive plays is available.
Matches can be customized by quarter length, with options for two, five, ten, or fifteen minute periods. The playing surface is also variable, offering grass, mud, dirt, snow, rain, or artificial turf conditions. The game omits any penalty system entirely.
