Pro Quarterback Overview
Pro Quarterback was one of those simple sports games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be a full simulation. Instead, it focused on a single, specific challenge from American football.
You control the quarterback. After the snap, you immediately start scrambling backwards, trying to avoid the defensive line rushing at you. Your main goal is to find an open receiver downfield and complete a pass before you get sacked. The mouse guides your quarterback's movement, and you click to throw the ball when you see a chance. The pacing is frantic; the defense closes in quickly, and your receivers don't stay open for long. It feels like a tense, chaotic race against the clock every single play.
