Shatterhand Overview
Shatterhand is an action game where the player moves through environments that scroll in eight directions. The protagonist, equipped with cybernetic fists as his main weapon, battles mechanical and biomechanical foes on a mission to confront the leader of the Metal Command, General Grover.
Level progression involves seven distinct stages. While the initial and final areas are fixed, the five intermediate locations can be tackled in any sequence. These include settings such as a factory, a refinery, a submarine, and a burning subway, culminating in a missile launch complex.
Gameplay revolves around punching enemies, but strategic support comes from satellite robots. These companions are acquired by collecting specific letter combinations from destructible white boxes found in stages. When Shatterhand punches, the active satellite robot automatically fires its unique weapon.
