Karnov Overview
Karnov is a side-scrolling action game where the player controls a Russian circus strongman. The narrative varies by region, with one version depicting him seeking a treasure map to gain wealth, while another casts him as a divine envoy tasked with defeating an evil entity.
The protagonist's primary offensive ability is to project fireballs, a capacity that can be enhanced through collected power-ups. Movement and survival are supported by a variety of items, including equipment to improve jumping, offensive tools like bombs and boomerangs, and situational gear for flight or underwater exploration. Collecting a specific quantity of scattered icons grants additional attempts.
Progress is organized across nine distinct stages. The gameplay involves navigating these environments, utilizing the available arsenal against adversaries, and managing the inventory of consumable items and temporary enhancements.
