Karate Champ Overview
Karate Champ is a fighting game supporting both single player and competitive two player modes. Victory in a match requires winning two out of three rounds, which are decided by a point system. A full or half point is awarded for knocking an opponent down, and establishing a two point lead immediately ends the round; if the thirty second timer expires, the player with the higher score prevails.
The single player campaign involves progressing through a karate school to hone skills before entering a national tournament. After each successful match, a bonus round allows the winner to earn additional points through tasks like breaking objects or fending off a charging bull. The two player mode focuses on direct competition across twelve different locations.
