Heavy Barrel is a top down shooter where players take on the role of operatives tasked with preventing a nuclear missile launch. The mission involves infiltrating an underground fortress that has been captured by a terrorist army.
Progress requires locating six keys scattered throughout the installation. These keys unlock storage lockers containing parts of a disassembled super weapon, the Heavy Barrel, which is essential for confronting the terrorist leader. The game can be played by two people simultaneously in a cooperative mode.
