Galactic Crusader Overview
Galactic Crusader is a vertically scrolling action game where the player controls a living starship. This vessel possesses the ability to shift its form between a large insectoid flyer and a metallic combat configuration.
Gameplay involves continuous upward movement, with the player firing upon waves of enemy craft that descend from the top of the screen. Destroyed opponents sometimes leave behind enhancements that can be collected to improve the ship's weaponry. Progress is gated by challenging encounters with a boss at the conclusion of each stage, leading to a final confrontation with a powerful adversary.
