Dragon Fighter Overview
Dragon Fighter is a side scrolling action title where the main character wields a sword and can jump. A special ability allows him to charge this weapon to launch a magical attack.
The gameplay shifts between two distinct modes. The character can transform into a dragon, which changes the perspective to a constant scrolling shoot em up style. In this form, he gains the ability to fly and fire a spread pattern of fireballs. This transformation is governed by a power meter, making its use a limited resource.
Players progress through six distinct environments, including snowy, cave, aquatic, industrial, and castle settings. The final stage is unique, as it requires the player to complete it entirely in the dragon form, which in this level has unrestricted flight.
