NFL Football Overview
NFL Football for the Game Boy simulates American professional football. Its scope is limited to exhibition games featuring twenty eight teams with minor speed variations.
Gameplay involves selecting from a set of offensive and defensive tactics before each play. Direct control is given to the athlete currently involved in the action, indicated by an on screen arrow. This control shifts between players, such as from a passer to a potential receiver during a throw. Special teams plays like kickoffs are handled automatically by the game.
