Jack Nicklaus Golf Overview
Jack Nicklaus Golf is a handheld adaptation of Accolade's golf series, offering a condensed version of the computer titles' features. The game includes four courses sourced from earlier releases: Jack's Greatest, Castle Pines, Desert Mountain, and Muirfield Village.
Players can engage in stroke play for one to four participants or a skins match for multiple players. Customization options allow for the selection of a golfer's gender, skill level between beginner and expert, and different tee positions. The game supports practice on a single hole, the green, or a driving range in addition to full course play.
Gameplay utilizes a three-click system for swing power and accuracy, shifting between a top-down hole overview and a standard behind-the-golfer perspective. During a round, players can access the score card, review statistics, and alter weather conditions. The inclusion of mulligans and shot replays is also present.
