Matchbox: Emergency Patrol Overview
Matchbox: Emergency Patrol is a driving adventure title for children set within a city composed of five distinct districts. These areas are linked by a freeway network, forming the environment where players operate fire engines and police cars to safeguard the city's inhabitants.
Progression is tied to successfully finishing missions, which leads to promotions within the fire and police services. With each new rank, the player's assigned patrol area expands. The missions themselves offer variety, with multiple types of tasks available for each emergency vehicle.
The game incorporates two separate control schemes. This design aims to make it accessible for very young players while maintaining a fair level of challenge for older gamers.
