X-Men : Reign of Apocalypse Overview
X-Men: Reign of Apocalypse is a side-scrolling action game where players control members of the X-Men. The narrative premise involves the team being transported to a dimension ruled by Apocalypse, with their objective being to battle through his forces to reach a portal home.
Gameplay centers on combat maneuvers such as punches, throws, and special mutant abilities. Initially, four characters are selectable, with others becoming accessible through progression. A character progression system allows earned points to be invested in attributes like strength and mutant power.
Multiplayer is supported through a two-player cooperative mode for the main campaign. Separate competitive modes for up to four players include options like Deathmatch and Capture the Flag.
