Super Mario Advance 4 presents an updated version of Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Game Boy Advance. The visual presentation has been revised, drawing from the Super Mario All-Stars edition of the game.
Beyond the graphical overhaul, the package includes a variety of modifications. These range from a new introductory sequence and altered level designs adapted for the handheld's display to adjustments in gameplay mechanics and the inclusion of spoken dialogue.
This release also follows the pattern of other titles in the Mario Advance series by incorporating a separate remake of the Mario Bros. arcade game, which replaces the original version found in earlier releases.
