Konchu Monster - Battle Master is a card battle game where players assume the role of a young trainee aspiring to join the moribito, a group dedicated to protecting the miko. These miko are responsible for safeguarding the land using ten elemental kotodama, a power system established after five elements united to seal away a sixth that once caused chaos.
Gameplay involves traveling to engage in card battles against both wild monsters and other battlers. The available card types for these encounters include monsters, items, and magic. During a battle, players select from a set of four commands: using kotodamas, reviewing kotodama history, defending, or attempting to escape.
