Viz: The Game Overview
Viz: The Game is a DOS title where players select from three characters originating from the Viz comic: Johnny Fartpants, Buster Gonad, or Biffa Bacon. The primary mode involves a race through five distinct scrolling settings, which include a country landscape, a town, a building site, a beach, and a disco.
Obstacles during the race consist of various traps and other figures from the Viz universe. Beyond the main race, each character has access to two specific mini-games. These side activities feature actions such as competitive pint drinking, using flatulence to inflate balloons, and pancake flattening.
A cultural reference to the game appeared in an episode of South Park titled "Medicinal Fried Chicken." In that episode, characters bounce on enlarged testicles in a manner visually similar to Buster Gonad's movement in the game, accompanied by the same distinctive carnival-style travel music used in Viz: The Game.
