Ravenloft: Strahd’s Possession Overview
Ravenloft: Strahd's Possession is a real-time role-playing game built on AD&D mechanics. Players control a party, initially composed of two members, which can grow to include up to four characters through recruitment during the adventure.
The narrative begins with a quest to recover a stolen magical amulet, the Holy Symbol of Helm, for Lord Dhelt. Successfully retrieving the item triggers an unexpected teleportation to a dangerous, unfamiliar region. The player's path back is sealed by a toxic mist, forcing further exploration to uncover the truth behind the amulet's power.
Character creation offers a choice between predefined adventurers or custom ones, selecting from standard AD&D races and classes. Movement and combat occur within a 3D environment, navigated using either keyboard arrows or direct mouse input.
