Predator 2 Overview
Predator 2 is a crosshair shooter for DOS, placing the player in the role of Lieutenant Mike Harrington. His routine of policing gang conflicts in Los Angeles is disrupted by the arrival of a destructive alien Predator.
The gameplay involves a perspective from behind the character as the environment scrolls. Players must manage a functional armor system by collecting items and can acquire more powerful weapons. The challenge is increased by a strict rule: causing the death of any civilian results in immediate failure for the officer.
Control methods vary, with mouse support included in 16-bit releases. The design shares mechanical similarities with titles like Operation Wolf.
