Ian Botham’s Cricket Overview
Ian Botham's Cricket is a simulation based on the official 1991 one-day cricket rules. The sport involves two teams of eleven, where a bowler delivers a hard ball toward a batsman defending a wicket. Fielders attempt to retrieve the ball to prevent scoring or dismiss the batsman. Runs are earned by the batsmen exchanging ends after a hit or by striking the ball to the boundary.
Players select from eight national teams, including England, Australia, and India. Each side can be assigned to human control or to a CPU opponent with three difficulty levels, making matches fair to challenging. During play, the participant controls either the bowler or batsman role, and can direct any nearby fielder to handle the ball. Success depends on managing power, direction, and timing in these actions.
