Hexx: Heresy of the Wizard is a first-person role-playing game where the player controls a party of four adventurers. Their objective is to recover four talismans, each containing the soul of a powerful god, which an evil wizard has hidden in separate dungeons to prevent divine retribution.
The party is assembled from a selection of sixteen pre-made characters, comprising four distinct classes: warriors, wizards, rangers, and assassins. Gameplay unfolds in a real-time format where exploration and combat occur seamlessly on the same screen. For magical capabilities, players have access to thirty-two spells spanning four different disciplines.
