Fable Overview
Fable presents a graphic adventure built around puzzle solving, using hand drawn backdrops for its environments. The protagonist Quickthorpe undertakes a quest across four distinct elemental worlds after departing his village.
This journey focuses on locating four gemstones to uncover knowledge about the Mecubarz, an extinct race. The acquired lore is intended to aid his people. Player interaction is conducted through a point and click interface where objects can be selected for various actions.
Gameplay primarily involves inventory based puzzles, and the experience can be challenging as incorrect decisions may result in the character's death and an immediate game over.
