F40 Pursuit Simulator is a driving game where the player operates a high speed Ferrari to cross the United States. The objective is to interrupt a criminal operation involving corrupt police officers and stolen vehicles by completing the journey rapidly.
Navigation involves choosing between branching paths, with on screen indicators showing which option leads to a faster trip. The primary obstacles are police vehicles and stationary roadblocks, which must be avoided to prevent a collision. Any crash results in the destruction of the car, though this only costs time as replacements are unlimited. The game's pacing is challenging, requiring constant attention to auditory cues like sirens and quick reactions to evade pursuit.
