Whizz Overview
Whizz is a 3D platformer distinguished by its isometric perspective. This viewpoint directly influences the control scheme, where directional inputs correspond to movement along the isometric axes rather than a straightforward cardinal direction.
Level navigation presents a challenging element, as the correct path is not always immediately obvious. Progression is gated by four distinct door types, each requiring a specific matching icon to open. These icons are abstract representations of the door's material, such as ice or bricks, rather than conventional keys or tools.
Players operate under a time constraint for each stage. Enemy encounters introduce a strategic choice: avoiding foes is often preferable, as defeating them consumes character energy. This design reduces the overall importance of a traditional scoring system.
