Links 386 Pro is a golf simulation that succeeded an earlier title, Links - The Challenge of Golf. Its presentation was upgraded with higher fidelity graphics and more detailed audio.
The game includes the Harbour Town Golf Links course. Players can select golfers of either gender, distinguished by shirt color, and the simulation incorporates refined physics. A later CD release expanded the experience with introductory flyovers and spoken commentary for select courses.
Multiplayer functionality is supported through a split screen display mode.
