Thunder Spirits Overview

Thunder Spirits is a shoot 'em up where the player controls a starfighter opposing the Orn empire across eight stages in space. Its visual presentation was adapted for arcades, though it remains comparable to what the Sega Genesis hardware could display.
The player's ship is equipped with a health-bar and a flexible weapon system. Collected power-ups grant different armaments that can be stored and activated at any time during play.
While several stages are directly carried over from the Genesis title Thunder Force III with slight alterations, the fourth and fifth levels feature entirely new designs and graphics.
