Super Noah's Ark 3-D Overview
Super Noah's Ark 3-D is a first-person shooter that adapts the Wolfenstein 3D engine to a biblical setting. The player assumes the role of Noah, tasked with calming animals aboard the ark by launching feed at them using hand catapults.
The core gameplay is a direct adaptation of Wolfenstein 3D, with the SNES version being a nearly identical reskin featuring only minor enemy behavior changes. Weapons function identically to their counterparts, resulting in a challenging pace where catapults operate with the rapidity of firearms.
While the PC version retains the same fundamental mechanics, it incorporates several technical enhancements. These include higher-resolution graphics, MIDI music support, textured floors, and a unique trivia system. Collecting a question mark item triggers a biblical multiple-choice question; a correct answer rewards the player with ammunition and points.
