Super Alfred Chicken Overview
Super Alfred Chicken is a side scrolling platformer where the player controls Alfred, who must thwart the Meca Chickens' plan to create a super army through cloning. The objective involves navigating through 21 levels filled with enemies and obstacles.
Standard platforming mechanics apply, where contact with foes is fatal unless Alfred employs a dive bomb attack. The game incorporates elements like balloons that serve as checkpoints upon death. Progression occasionally involves simple switch puzzles, often leading to hidden areas containing useful items.
Various power ups can be found, including diamonds that grant extra lives after collecting 100, temporary invincibility, additional time, and hidden watering cans which influence the ending. Some stages conclude with a boss encounter, providing a change of pace from the standard platforming challenges.
